Integrated fulfilment system for the web
Moco Communications Limited is one of the five mobile phone distributors in the UK. They supply phones direct to business and distribute phones and services to dealers and mobile phone shops around the country.
The mobile phone industry is aggressively competed. For Moco, staying ahead and gaining a competitive edge is imperative. Consequently, they needed software which allowed them to offer uniquely attractive services to their dealer customers. To this end, Moco and JIT collaboratively designed software that allows shops and dealers from around the UK to place fulfilment orders for mobile phones and have them delivered directly to their customer. Crucially, the new software integrated directly with Moco's existing, ERP system, thus keeping it low maintenance and cost-effective.
Customer benefits are delivered in the form of integrated, straight-through processing of credit checks, insurance arrangement and mobile phone network provision. This is a joint venture with JIT to ensure that the system is continuously developed and supported to keep it at the forefront of the industry.
The resulting system autonomatically manages all orders, serial numbers, commissions, decision making and shipping. It's currently averageing 3000 connections per month with only the need for warehouse personnel to ship the stock.
To meet the potential for very fluid from the software, JIT have developed the system around a highly flexibile and robust set of core components. New requirments arise constantly and the JIT team develop feature enhancements within extremely tight timeframes.
The system, known as ConSol, has been featured in industry press for it's ease of use and the streamlined capabilities it provides to mobile phone dealers.
